Who We Are
Our Story
Amplify Hope Africa is a dynamic organisation founded by a group of passionate Kenyan youth who recognized the challenges faced by communities in Kenya. Driven by the desire to bridge the gaps they observed in their own communities, they created the organisation to empower children, women and youth across Africa.
The organisation prioritizes Education, Health, Food Security and Livelihoods (FSL), Economic empowerment, Protection, SGBV prevention and response aiming to create opportunities and enhance community resilience. Furthermore, the organization strives to amplify the voices of those it supports by fostering leadership and advocacy, providing the necessary tools and resources to help individuals and communities thrive.
In collaboration with local partners and through community engagement, Amplify Hope Africa works towards a more equitable and hopeful future for all, ensuring that the aspirations of communities especially in rural areas are met with meaningful action and sustainable change.
Our Approach
Our aim is to create sustainable, long-term impact by executing projects centered around these main goals:
To promote access to quality education among children and youth by enhancing their social, cognitive, critical thinking, and decision-making processes for clear career paths and talent development.
To provide entrepreneurial, life skills training, and business start-up opportunities for youth and women for improved livelihoods and job creation.
To provide psychosocial first Aid (PSFA) to vulnerable and affected community members to cope with traumatic events and crises to reduce stress and promote recovery.
To support women and youths in achieving economic independence and taking up leadership roles to promote their involvement in community development.
To increase accountability and service accessibility for local government and policymakers to make vital services like healthcare, education, and legal assistance more available to underserved communities.
To reduce risk and vulnerability to climate change, boost resilience, improve well-being, and develop the ability to predict and respond to change.
